The Food Photography Process

How do we plan a photo shoot? What is the process? Is there a step by step formula? There is definitely a process, but every client has a different final vision, and a different way they would like images to move their company forward. That is why your project is built around you, and your needs.

STEP 1

After an initial chat, we get to work on planning and prepping your photo shoot.

Some questions to consider:

Are we shooting on location, or in studio setting?

Do we need a food stylist? Is there a chef involved?

What is the background of the image going to to be? Or what do we want it to look and feel like?

Will we require props?

STEP 2

Yeah it is Photo Shoot Day! (My favourite day...)

It will be fun. We have created a detailed plan and shot list. We are ready to roll.

*It can also be lot of standing, and watching computer screens all day, I recommend, comfy shoes, snacks that make you happy, and caffeine.

STEP 3

Hours and hours of editing final images

(because that is my job too!)

Delivery of images to clients, via Dropbox.
